Asics Novablast 2 Reviewed
Asics Novablast 2

The first version of Asics Novablast gained a large fan base right after the launch. The reason was undoubtedly the soft and comfortable shock absorption, balanced in an excellent way with a quick response in the midsole material Flytefoam Blast
In this second edition, the sole platform has been given a slightly different design. The drop has been reduced by 2 millimeters, and the heel has a more robust construction, which is a welcome upgrade. However, this does not make the shoe the best choice for heel runners with a great need for support and stability.
Instead, Asics Novablast has its leading target group among relatively driven runners with usable running techniques, who land on the forefoot or midfoot. This category of runners, on the other hand, can complete all kinds of sessions in this shoe.
Edition 2 of Asics Novablast is a few grams heavier than its predecessor, but on the other hand, also handles longer long trips better. Runners who fell in love with the first edition good running feeling will recognize themselves – and can at the same time enjoy an even more pliable upper with better ventilation.
